“Looking Ahead”
Born and raised in San Luis Obispo, California, Charlie Criner has always been a bit of a daydreamer, taking scenes from his imagination and blending them with radiant, contrasting light. Drawn to nature, obscure architecture and other oddities, Charlie captures a mysterious, dream-like vision in his pieces.
As Charlie’s art continues to evolve and grasp the viewer’s eye, he stays motivated through his love of music, film, and faith. A true family man, Charlie often creates artwork which symbolizes the love for his wife and children. Charlie recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest to glean new inspiration (and possibly find Bigfoot).
